About this event
Join us for a docent-led tour of the Madrona Marsh Preserve. The preserve is a natural habitat to many species. The animals a visitor may encounter include birds, insects, amphibian (frogs) and reptiles (lizards and snakes).
In the Native Garden, visitors will see native plants which have adapted to live in Southern California climate.
The terrain is flat, hard dirt trails that can accommodate people with canes, walkers, etc., and the hike consists of a one-mile radius. It is recommended to wear closed toe walking shoes, a hat with a brim, sunscreen and long pants.
MEET AT THE FLAGPOLE LOCATED NEAR THE FRONT ENTRANCE OF THE MADRONA MARSH.
