You won't want to miss our 9th Upside of Aging featuring Steve Lopez and Helen Dennis for a journalist's perspective on aging, retirement, and the life lessons that shape us.  It's sure to be a fascinating and insightful discussion! 

Plus, there's more to explore during this afternoon filled with learning and connection.  Explore our community resource fair featuring local exhibitors and bid on unique prizes during our silent auction.

Steve Lopez is a L.A. Times columnist, four-time Pulitzer Prize finalist, and winner of over a dozen national journalism awards.  He is the author of seven books, including the NY Times bestseller, The Soloist.  His latest book, Independence Day, was named a Wall Street Journal best book on retirement and aging in 2022.

Helen Dennis is a national leader on aging and retirement. She is the author of a weekly syndicated column, Successful Aging, and the best-selling book, Project Renewment:   The First Retirement Model for Career Women.  A founding PVP Village member, Helen created and leads our Upside of Aging.

• Complimentary valet parking begins at 12:30 pm. 

   

• Our community resource fair & silent auction starts at 12:30 pm.  

   

• Doors to the ballroom will open at 1 pm.  

   

• The conversation between Helen Dennis & Steve Lopez starts at 1:30 pm. 

   

• There will be a second opportunity to visit the resource fair from 2:30 – 3:30 pm.  Bidding on the silent auction items ends at 3 pm.

   

• Copies of Independence Day will be available for sale and signing at 1 pm and again after the event.
