The Palos Verdes Peninsula Village is committed to creating a caring community by providing opportunities for members and volunteers to help each other.  Villages thrive because of the many volunteers that make it work.

Here are some of the many ways you can help out:

Transportation for our members in need of a ride

• to medical appointments or pharmacies
• local shopping, library, post office

Minor Handyman Help

• minor household repairs (changing light bulbs and smoke alarm batteries, paint touch-up)

Technology Trouble Shooting

• help with computers, printers and cell phones
• social media access

Organize and/or host interest groups and special events

• current event groups
• walking groups
• luncheons, small gatherings, dinner groups, parties
• special events and activities
• new ideas always welcome

Village Connections

• friendly weekly visits
• phone call check ins
• going for walks together
• running errands (pick up groceries, etc)

Communications

• writing and editing newsletter articles
• photography
• advertising and public relations support
• website support
• special projects
