Let's Talk About Race: Next Steps

 “Let’s Talk More About Race"
Professor Carlos Royal of Marymount California University (MCU) will facilitate our second discussion on race. Participants will engage in a conversation about where we are now and what tools we can use to reduce still existing racial prejudices that creates inequity and inequality. Members of the MCU campus community (students, faculty, and staff) will be invited guests to this event. Missed January’s discussion?  Be sure to join us for this one!

“Music That Moved Movements”
Registrants can submit a song (title and artist) and discuss why they believe the song impacted social movements in history. ( i.e. “What’s Goin’ On by Marvin Gaye )  Send to Pat Sneller who will forward the list to Professor Royal.  He will create a playlist for all who submit a song by April 1.
