PVP Village & Peninsula High School Intergenerational Program
About this event
Are you interested in learning about and connecting with local high schoolers? Students from Peninsula High School invite conversation by sharing aspects of their lives.
This month we'll be discussing popular snacks across the generations, from today's high school fads to your favorites from childhood. What were your favorite snacks as a kid? What was the personal and/or cultural significance of the nibbles you loved to eat? Bill Covino has a good story about his first Pez dispenser and what it taught him about the theme of abundance. Tell us your stories about your favorite childhood goodies and enjoy a tasting of some of today’s popular snacks! There may even be a door prize!
If your last name begins with A-M, please bring a favorite non-alcoholic beverage to share.
If your last name begins with N-Z, please bring a finger-food snack to share (your favorite from childhood if it's still available)
